Social Skills Groups

Tools for Building Co-operative Skills & Peer Relationships

In-Person Social Skill Groups

Learn Ed Services offers weekly group sessions filled with interactive games to foster positive social interactions. These sessions enhance learning, build essential social skills, and help students understand and regulate emotions.

Join us to empower your child's learning journey to build tools they can use to create positive peer relationships! Some of our sessions include:

Social Skills & Peer Groups

Small-group guided interaction sessions where children practice communication, active listening, sharing, and fair play in real time with direct teaching and cuing.

Emotional Regulation Lessons

Direct instruction sessions focused on emotion identification and building a personalized self-regulation toolkit.

OUR APPROACH

Drawing on years of working with parents, students, and other educators, we've built methods to create a foundation for success.

Each child's learning plan is tailored to their learning style, strengths, and needs, giving them the skills and tools to succeed in school and beyond. Our inclusive small-group sessions draw on hands-on experience running lunchtime, recess, and classroom-based social skills groups, and training teachers to lead groups in their own classrooms.

The pillars of our approach include:

Direct & Explicit Instruction

Clear, step-by-step teaching of social rules, emotional literacy, and scientific principles using visual aids, language models, and concrete frameworks.

Real-Time Coaching & Guided Practice

Immediate, supportive feedback during peer interactions and activities to reinforce positive social choices and regulation techniques in the moment.

Interest-driven activities

Interactive STEM classes where children engage in collaborative Science and Art based activities.
